Canada · Peer-to-peer pet sharing
Pet share with neighbours who actually want the time with your pet.
Bloom is Canada’s peer-to-peer pet sharing community: owners share walks, visits, and companionship; animal lovers borrow that time. Identity-verified locals. Currently free for verified members. Not a gig app, not a kennel, and not insured by Bloom.
What “pet share” means here
Searching for pet share, dog sharing, or borrow a dog usually means one of two things: you have a pet who needs more company, or you miss having a pet and want regular time with one—without full-time ownership.
Bloom is built for that Canadian peer-to-peer model. Owners list pets and set expectations. Borrowers browse nearby animals, introduce themselves, and build a real routine: morning walks, afternoon visits, weekend play, or in-home time when life gets busy.
It is not Uber-for-dogs. Arrangements are agreed between members. Bloom provides profiles, messaging, and identity verification tools. You decide who to meet.
Why Bloom for pet sharing
Share time, not invoices
Pet sharing on Bloom is neighbour-to-neighbour. People show up for the companionship—walks, visits, and familiar routines—not for a per-visit fee.
Identity before messaging
Members complete Stripe Identity with government-approved ID, plus email and phone checks. Borrowers also verify address. That is access and accountability—not a safety guarantee.
Free for verified members
Verified members can message and arrange visits without a paid membership. Identity verification still applies, and free access does not create insurance or a Community Guarantee.

Important: community risk
Bloom is a peer-to-peer pet sharing community. Members are identity-verified (Stripe Identity with government-approved ID, plus email and phone; borrowers also verify address). Bloom does not insure or reimburse accidents or veterinary costs, and there is no outcome guarantee. Owners and borrowers assume those risks—read the Terms of Service before making any arrangement.
Pet share FAQ
What does pet share mean on Bloom?
Pet sharing on Bloom means a pet owner and a verified neighbour arrange time together with a pet—walks, visits, or in-home companionship—directly with each other. It is peer-to-peer community matching, not a paid pet-care marketplace and not a commercial kennel booking.
Can I borrow a dog in Canada on Bloom?
Yes. Many members join to borrow time with a dog: regular walks, visits, or longer companionship when an owner needs help. You browse nearby pets, chat through Bloom, meet in person first, and only proceed when both sides are comfortable.
Is Bloom free to use?
Yes. Bloom is free to use for fully verified members. Create an account, complete required verification (email, phone, and government ID via Stripe Identity; borrowers also complete address verification), then message and arrange visits at no charge. Free access does not create insurance or any guarantee of outcomes.
How does identity verification work?
Bloom uses Stripe Identity with government-approved ID, plus email and phone verification. Borrowers also complete address verification. Verification supports accountability and platform access. It is not a background check of every risk, not insurance, and not a guarantee of character or outcomes.
Does Bloom insure pets or guarantee arrangements?
No. Bloom does not insure, reimburse, or cover accidents, veterinary costs, property damage, injury, escape, loss, or other losses. There is no Bloom Community Guarantee. Owners and borrowers decide who to meet and assume those risks. See Community Risk & Responsibility in the Terms of Service.
