The Bloom Story
Bloom started in British Columbia, Canada, where love for the outdoors and animals runs deep.
We kept seeing the same gap: pet owners busy with life needing more support with their pets, animal lovers wanting companionship, and pets simply needing more walks, play, and attention during the day. Existing options often felt expensive, rushed, or transactional. Bloom was created to offer something more personal, relationship-first, and built on real trust.
Bloom is intentionally built around trust and local connection, not "quick bookings":

- Community first, borrowing isn't a transaction, it's a relationship. Membership keeps the platform running, we value honesty and respect

Today, Bloom is growing into a Canadian community built on one simple idea: when pets get more love, people get more joy. As we grow, we're also committed to supporting charities, kennels, and programmes that help pets in need find safe, loving homes.
Meet Bloom’s Founder
Hi, I'm Giulio La Medica, founder of Bloom, and this is Loki, my best friend and the reason this platform exists.
Loki showed me how much joy, comfort, and routine a dog can bring, and how many pets spend too much time alone while many people wish they could experience that bond more often.
Bloom was built to bridge that gap through a community-first platform that connects responsible pet owners with caring animal lovers.
